If you want high fashion, but don't want to spend the money

It's fun, artistic, and travel-friendly!
The sky is the limit for you.  I recently fell in love with cutting up t-shirts, especially trying the templates by Megan Nicolay.  She currently has out two awesome books: Generation T: 108 ways to transform a T-shirt, and Generation T: Beyond fashion 120 new ways to transform a T-shirt.  They both sell for $16 each.  Basically you start with a regular T-shirt and transform it into a skirt, or a sexier T-shirt.  It is very versatile.  If you are not artsy, that's ok, she tells you exactly what to do.  And if you are artsy, you can use her ideas to make your own.  I have enjoyed starting with her idea, and changing it into something of my own.  The other great thing about this is if you require being crafty to keep you sane, like I do, this is a simple way to have 100s of options and no supplies.  Wherever you are, just go to a Goodwill or Salvation Army and buy a few guys shirts and get started.
No worries, I will post pictures of these as well!
